Halloween Tape is Eshniner Forest's second album of songs & is from the year 2002. It was recorded in Duluth as well as Athens Georgia & as you can tell from the title most of these songs have something to do with Halloween. The overall album perspective is from the eye of child going trick or treating for the most part, but it does stray away from that concept from time to time.

ON THE INNER SLEEVE OF THE CASSETTE IT STATES:

"History: After a brief snow storm 2 years ago Eshniner started growing inside me. So I decided to make a take of tunes, that would reflect my electro-bike-goblin life style. So I used a microphone, guitar and a keyboard to make tunes routed into a 4 reel tape recorder. 3 early songs were multi-tracked with a 486 computer. I liked making the electronic songs & I hope you think their nice."

The album was recorded on an analog 4 track recorder made by Tascam. The Microphone used was the cheapest Radio Shack Microphone used & is still sold to this day at Radio Shack. The guitar on these recordings is a Peavey Electric & all the other sounds are from a Yamaha Keyboard. The song Stattic Crystal does contain some recorded CB radio transmission. Other then that it was all put together by Eshniner Forest.
